halo 2 no cd patch

you never need the disc after install so idk why you would need a no cd patch

Well it's asking me to insert the disk even after I mounted the ISO.

Something is fucked up

you're missing a file in the iso. clearly it's a broken iso.
re mount it, if you don't own the cd then go purchase a new one.

I downloaded 2 different ISO's and 2 RAR files all of them gave me the same error wtf. There's got to be a way to fix this..

If this is still a problem; what are you using to mount the image? There is Daemon Tools Lite and MS just recently released an update that allows you to mount images on Windows XP, Vista and 7 called the Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel


You could try copying the dedicated installer from the disc to the the HDD first.
