How do you create custom map servers?

Since dedicated servers have a Custom Maps folder, how does it work? I have tried to put deepfreeze.map in there and in the playlist file, creating a match with map =deepfreeze, but I am getting, "map missing or invalid." Can anyone explain how to get to work in the .hpl playlist file?

I tried that after I posted and still getting invalid map.
This is what I have:

The playlist does not contain any valid matches
map missing or invalid

And I did create the FFA variant within the playlist file too.

Its been awhile so I'm not sure if you need the internal or the external name of the map, unfortunately all my custom playlists were stolen by Moose Fuckers Inc. after they attacked our server.

So I am still running into issues with custom maps. As you will notice in the match sections, I use the map name not the filename and I get warning "Map missing or invalid "
on each custom map. All the custom maps are in halo 2 dedicated server/custom maps and even in halo 2 dedicated server/maps.
Anyone know why this is still an error?

I believe you need to restart the halo server services (from RUN > services.msc) before the server recognizes the new maps.
Recreating the service worked! Thank you!

You shouldn't have to recreate it, just restart the service.
it only scans for custom maps when the service initially starts. so if you alter the custom map list, you need to restart the service.
