Does anyone have any links to 343i/Bungie stating that the Halo 2 Vista servers being shut down for good? I've only found old posts from mid last year and posts from 3 years ago. Apparently there's a daily bulletin? Does anyone have a link to that? Just want to do some reading up on the whole situation.
They just quietly took them down without a statement. We reached out to xbox support, but they just gave a standard "We are aware of the issue, and are trying to determine the blah blah blah" response. Looks like no one at MS really cares at all. All we know is that the servers are down, they'll probably never come back, and PermaNulled's efforts with project cartographer will most likely never gain any traffic with enough people to repopulate the game. Diminishing returns at its most depressing.
