New Update today (Dec 28) and Halo 2 no longer can be launched

Hello,

When I started Halo 2 today I was being forced to download and install some new updates today but after I was done installing the update, I could no longer launch the game at all. I also have rebooted my PC but nothing worked.

I do not get any error either, it just that when I click on the Halo 2 icon, game just does not launch.

Try running Halo 2 as Admin. (right click, Run as Administrator)

I went back to run the project cartographer .exe file again from the website and it seems to work now. However, I noticed this new update has moved all the servers to Online Game option instead of Network. I feel that could be the new update.
