Got this game, activated it through GFWL with a Fallout 3 key. Want achievements but game asks to activate after playing first mission

You use latest GFWL client.
Then install game use the live access code provided from any gfwl game from 2007-2010, give or take. Then sign in with your Xbox account. It'll ask for the key, it'll take 30 minutes first time to log in. Log in, update the game, play the game. If it's asking to activate, then activate using the same key you used while signing in.

I have the latest, I'm kind of a GFWL collector and have installed like 15-20 games from it. The issue is the actual "startup.exe" thinks i haven't activated the game. GFWL is working fine
