Hey everybody,
First off I'm so stoked that the Halo 2 community is still alive.
Is there a way to host private matches? I want to play with a few buddies in just a 4 person game like the good old days. I have turned on port forwarding in the appropriate ports, but not sure how to "party up" with them.
I can create new games but I don't see anywhere to name the game or anything, so any help would be appreciated! Thanks

when you create a game (by clicking "create a game" on top of the server list), it should appear on the server list (for others, since you can't access the server list unless you close the game). the name of the "server"' when you create a game will be your cartographer account name (so if the account you registered on cartographer.online is "Prude_Yoshi" the server you create will also be called "Prude_Yoshi")

if others can't join you, it is in 99% of cases due to a firewall or router issue. if you have forwarded the correct ports, people should be able to join. once people are in, go to settings, press the "party privacy" button and set it to "closed". this way, your game will not appear on the server list anymore.
