I was banned

I got banned yesterday or maybe the day before for using an auto aim mod I know I shouldn't of used it, I just wanted to see how it worked. well after two games online I got banned so I'm hoping I can appeal the ban. so if anyone could help, I wont be modding online anymore, I have been playing halo 2 since it came out but have never been able to play it online until now on pc so it really upsetting not being able to play it....
