"Failed To Load Map" Help

There's a map I want to load that won't. IDK what more to say than that. This seems like it'd be a common problem. What causes it? I'm sorry for lack of info

Try re-installing the maps from the ISO. If it's a custom map that isn't in the repo it won't download.

It's a custom map. I also have the problem that it won't show up in my Custom Maps list for some reason. My friends can load it, but I can't so :/

Just realized I can't connect to any server now. Wth?

What map is it?
Also not able to join servers is a kind of common problem
Try restarting your internet modem and pc to refresh your public ip

Yeah, I fixed the server thing. I was concerned 'cause my friend couldn't either, coincidentally. The map was Desert Hog and I ended up being able to play it by downloading the "custom map adder."
