Hi, I am having a small problem getting splitscreen for Halo 2 Project Cartographer to work. Before you refer me to this post (https://halo2.online/threads/help-need-a-guide-for-split-screen-online.1882/) I already attempted all of these steps. The problem I am having is running multiple instances of Halo 2 PC. When I attempt to open a second window, I receive this error message: Error! In order to play Halo 2 "Split-screen" you must have a valid instance of Xinput9_1_0.dll in the xinput, (h??) folder.
After movinc a copy of xinput0_1_0.dll to the only folder in the xinput folder (it was habled h02) the game will open, then freeze and close with an error message after a few seconds. I am wanting to play LAN with my brothers, but can not seem to get it working.
