New, but having problems.

I just reinstalled H2V after being away for a while and found that the servers are down....so I found this.

I've ran the new launcher, but during registration, it wouldn't let me enter my full email. It still let me log in though, and I can information regarding servers and players so it seems like it's communicating properly. But when I click to browse games or even Quickmatch, I get a message that Live is unavailable.

Can someone let me know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

Go through "networks" to play online.

Thanks, I didn't check that option earlier. I just logged in and it showed up. I didn't try to join yet, but I'll try tomorrow. Thanks!

I made that same mistake too. I felt so stupid afterwards, glad nobody will have that problem again!

Well, I was able to play for a while. The launcher "took" my initial registration, and then afterwards I was just launching with the standard halo2.exe file---which still worked normally and let me play. However, today I had to reinstall and could not remember my password. So, I attempted to re-register, but my username is in use (by my original registration), but I can't retrieve password since that one cut the "om" from ".com"

Post the account and username you used and someone will delete your account so you can make a new one.
