- Spawn Commands
- spawnNear <item_name> <count> - example: spawnnear rocket_launcher 5, should spawn 5 rocket launchers near you. A thing to note is only the host/dedicated server can spawn items, so this will not work in public games. In order to spawn items you'll need the datum index of the item you're trying to spawn in commands.txt
- resetSpawnCommandList - reloads the spawn commands in command.txt.
- spawn <item_name> <count> x y z - Spawns items in the specified coordinates.
- xyz - Displays x, y and z coordinates for the spawn command.
Commands.txt is a text file that is created manually by the user and placed at the root directory of their Halo 2 install. A name for the tag and its datum index is placed inside the text file which is then used in game with the spawn command to spawn the object. It should look like this "shotgun,0xECD6327".
Datum Indexes for commands.txt
There are tools to get the datum indexes for items such as Assembly but if you're just interested in spawning items here is an organized list and my own commands.txt file if you don't feel like making your own, just place commands.txt in the root of your Halo 2 install.
