Trouble installing H2.

I keep getting an "Initialization Failed" error, not the "Windows Live Gaming" one. I can't find any fixes for it online and I am running Vista SP1 with a 3.3 WEI rating. What do? :cry:

Try uninstall halo 2 ,reboot,install Windows Live again,reboot,install halo 2
check for any h2server services if running and close them (if any)

Is the Windows Live thing needed? I don't think I have it....
