Despite connected very hard/random to get the server list

Hello,

Since August, I can't see servers on Halo 2 Cartographer anymore.

Yesterday, I deleted the launcher, got access to the server list and now again I have zero server on Windows 10 (probably the launcher tried a refresh).

It looks like it's not refreshed or not trigerred...

Same thing happen on the computer at work while another PC will get it to run, i'm a bit tired of this bug.

Is there some debug value or way to manually refresh, get the errors especially somewhere?

Could be high ping or something. Have you tried changing your base port in the launcher from 1000 to 2000?

Thanks, I tried on the PC of work to 2000, still the issue.
Yes probably, i never got any issue when the mod was out, suddenly appeared at the end of August.
I don't know if there is some debug tools or log to capture the error.

Close the launcher
Go to your halo 2 directory
Open xlive.ini
Make sure there is a login token. If not, you need to run the launcher and login
Change port = 1000 to something random like port = 34537
Save and close xlive.ini
Run halo2.exe
You should be able to see servers now

If not, then there is a firewall blocking your ports

I realized a background software of mine kill the server list on Halo 2, i'm going to tell you which one.

Found it, the background program running not compatible with Halo 2 Project Cartographer is NetWorx, the software should analyse the data traffic only not block. Could you have a look if you have the time?

I'm going to edit the bug on github with details, it's up to you to maybe fix or ignore this.
