Is there any fix for missing trees in the game which doesn't require using xliveless

I was planning on playing the game for some single player achievements using xbox live but the only fix which is still available(shader override link is dead on the nvidia forums and if i recall correctly it breaks some other things in the game) requires using a xliveless mod which will disable achievements

Shader Override is pinned in the #help channel of the Halo 2 PC discord, but there's no other way to fix it to my knowledge without Project Cartographer or Shader Override.
