Mouse Acceleration

I've searched Google in the hopes that their might be a fix for the mouse acceleration in Halo 2 PC but I couldn't find any solution.

So figured I'd try here. Anyone know if it's possible to remove the mouse acceleration from Halo 2? I love this game but the accel makes it hard to enjoy playing it.

I've heard of no mouse acceleration in halo 2 and have had no aiming issues either, I just turned off the mouse acceleration option in the control panel of my windows 7 computer (under devices then right click on mouse, mouse settings, pointer options tab, then uncheck enhance pointer precision, save then problem solved!)
