Hello all.
I am encountering a rather frustrating issue when playing Halo 2 online. (On a Mac. I know. Sorry, not sorry.)
The game loads in fine. I can see servers in both Network and Online listings, and I can join some games just fine, others no, which is to be expected. However, the frustration comes from the fact that I can only join these games once. If I try to join the same lobby again later, for instance the next day, I am met with the usual message of "You cannot join this party at this time." This holds true with games that I've played months ago. I can host games with no incident, and I can join LAN and one-time custom online games created by friends, but standard online lobbies just once.
I've forwarded the proper ports, cleared any firewall issues, and have no issues otherwise with the game. Other online games play just fine, and when I CAN connect, Halo 2 online runs just fine.
If anyone has an inkling of a solution, please let me know.
