There is a tool, I forget what its called, it allows you to swap textures in pretty much all games by swapping whats in the memory rather them recompiling them into the games resource files. There might be a tool that could do the same for sound files, however, they would have to be in correct format, exactly what the game engine expected.
Beyond that there is custom mapping where we can use the sounds we want, again, as long as they are in the correct format. But this does not help with the original maps you want edited.
So, no, there is no simple way that I know of to accomplish this.
