Staying Logged In

As soon as I launch Halo 2, it asks me to add my account. So, I add my account and check the remember me option so I stay logged in. If I exit the game and go back in, I'm not logged in and have to add my account back. Any way to fix this or am I getting this wrong?

My account doesn't show up when I start up the game even though the dialogue says, "Select an account to sign in." And I made sure to select the option to remember the account.
